The Comedy Injection Players
Tandiwe Kone
A native Houstonian and fixture in Houston’s improv comedy community for many years. After graduating from Station improv Theater in 2012, she has performed with many improv troupes, most notably the award winning team Can’t Tell Us Nothing. She has performed all around Houston, throughout the state of Texas as well as NYC and Los Angeles. When she is not performing, Tandiwe enjoys being a mother and a nurse, two roles which require quick thinking and the ability to improvise.
Amechi Ngwe
Amechi Ngwe is a writer, improviser, and improv coach. He performs improv comedy at venues across Houston — primarily at Station Theater and is a member of the award winning troupe Can’t Tell Us Nothing.
Steph Suarez
Steph Suarez has been performing comedy since 2017 across improv, sketch, and stand-up. With Station Theater as her comedy home, she now performs with multiple troupes and coaches improv teams. Outside of comedy, she works as a registered nurse while pursuing her master’s degree, balancing it all with support from her husband, whom she met in an improv class.

Jacob Womack
Jacob Womack is a veteran performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Los Angeles. He performed with longtime Harold teams John Velvet and The Dragons. Womack hosted the UCB improv jam, The Big Jam, for many years and toured with UCBTour Co, performing improv shows and teaching workshops. Womack regularly performs with Holy Shit Improv, recently doing a run of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has written for Comedy Central, HBO MAX, NFL, and more. He’s appeared on numerous shows on Comedy Central, Adult Swim, HBO MAX, network TV and all over world wide web. Womack has been featured in films at Sundance, SXSW and other festivals that show art. He loves to talk about improv.

Leslie Lenert
Leslie is an improviser who performs most regularly at Station Theater with her team, Mission Control. Before training in improv at Station, Leslie had already been a part of the Houston theatre scene for over ten years as an actor and teaching artist. Currently, she teaches acting classes through Studio for Actors Houston. Leslie is also a speech-language pathologist working in a healthcare setting, where she does interactive improv constantly.

Michael Mixon
Michael Mixon has been performing and teaching improv across the country for the last decade. He graduated from ImprovBoston performing on multiple house teams including Anything But Pretty and The Justice. He has also performed and taught at the New Movement in New Orleans before moving to Kansas City where he performed with The Bird Theater and The Kansas City Improv Company. For the last year and half he’s lived in Houston performing and teaching at The Station Theater.
